1 Tip to Regain Motivation to Exercise

This is a blog post by Boronia personal trainer, Grant Lofthouse

And here’s the transcript from the video if you prefer to read 🙂

Kitty cats, what’s going down? Grant Lofthouse from Boronia personal training here.

I came across this tip because I had a call with a lady who reached out to me over Facebook.

She had hired an online trainer to put together a program for her…

But the program was taking her anywhere between one and half to two hours and she had to do it five times per week.

It was one of those typical body builder programs.

The workouts were leaving her so sore and burnt out that she was starting to dread them. She also found herself dragging her feet to get to the gym and only ended up training once per week.

If you too have no motivation to exercise then here’s what I invite you to do…

Start having fun with you workouts.

What might be considered as fun to you may be completely different to someone.

But I can assure you that if you’re only training once per week with the best workout in the world.

Versus a workout you love so much that you do it 3, 4, 5 times per week….

I can guarantee you you’ll see far better results from the fun workouts simply due to consistency.

And that’s one of the big ‘hidden secrets’ behind why clients continue to work with me between 1-4 years.

Along with providing a great service I put a high priority on keeping everything fun.

Fun = consistency = results.

Don’t get so caught up in the set n’ reps stuff – it is important. But only once you have consistency first.

And remember, fun is whatever you want it to be 🙂
